Sammie Mays lives in rural New Mexico with her parents and two younger sisters.  When she is not working on school work and helping to take care of the horses, chickens, ducks, dogs, and cats Sammie enjoys playing video games, making jewelry, drawing, and of course writing.  She also enjoys traveling to spend time with her grandparents and aunts and uncles.  Sammie wants to become an artist / interior decorator when she graduates from high school.
